Where Garza Jail Releases Go
The Garza County Law Enforcement Center is the best documented possible outside housing jail for a King County prisoner. It is not a King County building. A September 2025 King County Commissioners Court agenda proposed an interlocal housing agreement with Garza County, but the agenda alone does not prove that officials approved the agreement or that it remains active. Confirm the actual housing location with the King County Sheriff for every person before asking Garza for a release record.
A Garza departure has several meanings. Bond, dismissal, a court order, time served, or sentence completion may lead to the community. A transfer may instead send the person back to King County for court, to another county on a hold, to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after a felony commitment, or to a federal or immigration authority. The Garza event record should name the date, time, type, authority, and receiving agency. Without the destination, “released” only proves that Garza's custody ended.

Confirm a Garza Jail Release
Begin with identity and placement, not a broad name search. King County has no official local jail roster and is listed with zero local jail capacity in the Texas Commission on Jail Standards countywide report. That structure makes the arresting-agency-to-housing-facility path essential. Garza's official page also provides no public roster or rolling release list.
- Call the King County Sheriff and give the full name, date of birth, incident date, and booking number if known. Ask where the person was booked and physically housed.
- If Garza is confirmed, contact its jail. Ask whether the person remains confined, entered the community, or transferred, and request the event date, time, authority, and destination.
- Search Texas VINE against Garza when a matching live custody record is available. A missing result is not proof of release.
- Compare the custody event with the King County court case. A bond order, dismissal, judgment, or commitment explains why Garza acted.
- Request the existing release transaction in writing when durable proof is needed. Follow any named receiving agency until the record shows community release or continuing custody.

A focused request can seek the booking sheet, custody-event history, release transaction, transfer entry, and booking photograph. Include the person's full name, date of birth, incident or booking date, booking number if known, and a narrow date range. Ask that confidential material be redacted rather than requesting unrelated personal details.
Garza Jail Release Records
A release record is often a group of linked documents rather than one certificate. Useful fields include the arresting agency, booking number, admission date and time, charges, originating court, bond information, custody events, the date and time Garza custody ended, the release type or authority, and the destination on transfer. A booking sheet may also contain a photograph and physical descriptors, subject to Texas law and case-specific redaction.

- A custody end that sends the person out of confinement, often under bond, court order, completion, parole, or probation conditions.

The September 8, 2025 King County agenda placed a proposed agreement for Garza County inmate housing before the commissioners court. This is a distinctive but limited source. It documents a proposed relationship, not an executed contract, a permanent placement rule, or proof that a named person went to Post.
Record ownership can split across county lines. King may hold the arrest report, charging information, court case, and contract-custody material. Garza may hold its booking sheet, housing events, release transaction, and photograph. A sound request goes to the office that created or maintains each record. When either county points to a third custodian, record the agency name and continue the inquiry there.
King Court Records Explain Release
The jail record shows what Garza did. The King court file can show why. Use the King County Clerk or 50th District Clerk according to the case. Search for a bond order, dismissal, judgment, sentence, commitment, revocation, or other signed filing. Online docket labels are useful leads, but the clerk can identify the underlying order and explain copy or certification options.
A court order alone may not show the precise moment the jail completed release processing. Pair it with Garza's dated transaction. Likewise, a Garza transfer entry does not explain the final case result. Using both records reduces the risk of calling a transfer a community release or confusing one case with another.
After a Garza Jail Transfer
If Garza reports transfer to TDCJ, use the TDCJ inmate search while the person is currently incarcerated. The result may show the state facility, offense information, maximum sentence date, and Projected Release Date. That date concerns state-prison custody and does not describe a Garza bond release. After prison release, TDCJ status, Parole Division, or IVSS channels may be more useful than the current-only locator.
A federal path can pass from a local host jail through the U.S. Marshals Service and later the Bureau of Prisons. The BOP locator can show a federal release date, but “RELEASED” only means the person is no longer in BOP custody. For an immigration transfer, use the ICE detainee locator and direct information line. In every path, the receiving record answers whether custody continued after Garza's event.
The Texas DPS Sex Offender Registry is a narrow post-release source only for a person who has a current legal duty to register. It does not show a general jail release date and does not cover most people. A registry match also cannot establish that someone is not back in custody.
